doesn't beat the hobbit but still best of the trilogy. awesome either way. this one has my favorite sam moments. his song in the tower of cirith ungol and when he says 'all my wishes have come true' and cries are two of my favorite moments in all literature.

Working on it, but might have to go back. Only a few chapters from the end and I put it off for a month.
