I'm generally not a fan of the genre, but I enjoyed how she made all the characters 'human.' I picked up a lot of information on the Indian culture of which I know nothing!

its a good book which highlights to and fros of young indians who wants to continue their traditions but at same time they want some freedom out of it

the only down-side of this book is that you will want to learn what happens next to the characters. the short stories are so good that they leave you wanting much more.
