The watch and Captain Vimes are again in wonderful form, the change of scenery from Anhk Morpork gets them out of their element but they remain themselves.

Just read it again. This man truly is a genius. The plot is cleaver and complex and truly unpredictable. Vimes is the man.

A little more action packed than most other Discworld novels I've read. Was very hard for me to put it down... even when the clock struck three in the morning and I had to go to work at nine. Pratchett's writing as always shines through again. Can't wait to read the next one.
