I almost decided not to finish reading this book as it was hard to get interested in it...but I prevailed....a good quick read and a very quirky lifestyle!

The girl can work a metaphor. Possibly some of the best writing I have ever read. "The tablet was old, used and overworked, like elbows."

I've read this a few times. It's amazing and sad and has some funny moments. Is mostly a serious, dramatic type read though. It follows a confused girl that lives in her grandfather's "church" commune.

One of those books you can't put down. It was very good but the ending left me wanting more than what was given. There could easily be a sequal to this book.

This was a favorite of mine for the simplicity and yet complex nature of the story as it is woven through themes of the simplicity of faith and the backwardness of religion.

Another interesting read from Sheri Reynolds full of conflicted people and interesting relationships. While not my favorite of her books, a good read. Who doesn't love a slightly naughty, yet amazingly loving grandmother.
