The Bridge Trilogy is a favorite simply because it takes place in Oakland/SF and people live on a junked out, post-big-one Bay Bridge.

Not bad, but I didn't think it was up to some of his other books. I thought the ending was pretty weak.

Freakin' bizarre book. I'll need to read it again to figure out just what the heck it's about, but the one thing I can tell after a single read is that I like it.

Came out in 1999 its all about "Tipping Points" written before the Tipping Point book and before every hack journalist started using the phrase "Tipping Point"

Interesting peek at what would happen if people turned the Golden Gate Bridge into a commune. Also was the inspiration for me learning how to grind down silicon into a knife.
