honestly a little confused. havent quite finished it yet, so i dont understand why hatch and vassago have that connection. suppose i should finish it. ha love dean koontz!

So the beginning had me hooked because I'm into that crazy sci-fi sort of stuff like reviving a dead person after being dead for a very long time. And I was fully along for the ride through most of the book but suddenly at the end it was a brick wall so be prepared for a "what in the world?!?!" sort of finish. This story though had a way of really getting me involved and scaring the daylights out of me and I loved it. Not many books can get a startle reaction from me but this one did. I know some people have a problem with Koontz but personally...I'll be back for more.

Bad ass book. One of my favorites. There was a movie based on this book. Personally (like most of us who read) I prefered the book. One of my all time favorite books. The movie Hideaway with Jeff Goldblum was based on this book. But, as for me (as is typical) found the movie disappointing when compared to the book. Alicia Silverstone's character was actually a handicapped little girl, in the book, if I remember correctly. It's a battle of good and evil that really speaks to some of the trials in our own society. This book is Awesome!!
