i just finished reading the book and its my first koontz book ever....i feel the story was quite engaging and fast-paced, but at times koontz style of writing can be really distracting especially when he describes places and feelings....

"Courage, love, friendship, compassion, and empathy lift us above the simple beasts and define humanity.." This is quoted by the author himself for his other book "Strangers" but IMHO, it is well suited for this particular book "Twilight Eyes"... Hope the goblins is really fictionous amongst humankind..

This is the first book I'd ever read from Dean Koontz. And I was immediately hooked. This will turn your expectations on it's head.

This was probably the second or third Koontz book I read when I was a kid. I can see why I liked it, but in retrospect the whole thing seemed a bit cheezy to me. It was like, anything that was potentially creepy and chilling was negated by the poorly written "love story". It's fun..but by no means is it anywhere near his best.
