Spooky as all get-out. Saul's books from this era all seem to have quite a few things in common, but they're all different and spooky and engrossing in their own ways. It's almost sad that he's not more highly regarded... but then again, i've read some of his books from the 90s.

I have read this book so many times...I absolutely love it. This is the book that got me interested in John Saul. I never would have thought that this genre of book was for me, but I'm hooked.

one of the first John Saul books that I read, over 20 years ago..loved it, this is the book that started me reading John Saul Novels..Love it.....=)

CREEPY AS HECK. But still, so worth the read and the occasional night of semi-paranoia. I refused to read it at night, but then, I was about twelve, so I suppose I can be excused that, no?Very good book. Imagery, setting, characters...Nice.
