This is the first book I read when I started to read for enjoyment again, a couple of years after majoring in Literature and into teaching it. This book so inspired me, I actually went to Ireland to visit the town in which it took place!

There comes a time in one's life where the path seems to open itself unto you, inviting you to make your choices. There comes a moment in one's life where you draw yourself into your dreams and set yourself onto that route that you will possibly take. Here then is a journey or immersion into the University life of a young Irish young adult- where the elements of boy-girl love, friendship and dreams all morph together into one exciting, youthful time. Such is a time where the innocent dreams and joys of youth draw together and remain, forever, in that circle where friendship never fades.

One of the first Maeve Binchy books I ever read. And I probably read it after the movie, which is still one of my favorites. I think at this point I have read almost all of her other books - I enjoy her characters which appear in various books along the way.
