Nice book about 1800's england and the banking industry. If you like this, you will also like Arthur Hailey's Moneychangers. a modern look on the banking industry. Enjoy.

Excellent, mesmerizing novel. Follett has a way of drawing you into the story and making you forget that you're not actually part of it. If you need a break from the dullness of 2009, go back to the 1900's...expertly written and spellbinding.

Ken Follett has a knack for developing characters and telling a story. Even though you may not like certain characters, their personalties always come through.
