Lee switches his point of view to first person in this one and you get to get a little more into Jack's mental processes with this one.

Another fun, slam-bang-crazy action outing with Jack Reacher. If you like that kind of thing, Lee Child has it down.

Hard core thriller with enough gratuitous violence that a pacifist should not admit to having read it. Enjoyed the story, the pacing.

Very good action/thriller reading. Nothing redeeming about it except for being entertained for a few hours. All of the Jack Reacher books are worth reading if you have some extra time.

Child was getting lower than average... and then along came a perfect Reacher stort like this. The first person narrator felt weird, even unappropriate for Reacher... but only for a while.

Child has changed his style of writing in this one from the third person to the first. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it worked. It's also set the style for the novels to come which seems to work better for The Enemy.

Pretty standard fare, except a tad more gruesome. I would be unlikely to read another novel by him.
