Confused, maybe I missed something. Was not clear to me who God was and who killed God or if their God really was killed. All the hipe on the movie and books said God was killed. I was waiting for it looking for it, and missed it. So that is what got everyone in a stir but the gay angels no one ever mentioned??? That did not bother one single Christian. And the fact that Lyra became a Witch. I would have thought that would have been a big deal also. I must have missed something here. Will have to read them all again. Later I have others sitting on my night stand waiting for me.

Is a bit older than the first two which probably explains why when i first tried to read it (at 10/11 prehaps 12 years old) i gave up halfway, however after a year or so when i started from the beginning it was a joy to read. As with The Northern Lights you discover more everytime you pick it up.

Not bad, personally the weaker of the trilogy for me, with the second my favourite. Unfortunatley due to the nature of the characters not being together, the book jumps from character to character between chapters, and reminded me very much of watching either of the lkast two Lord of the rings films.

What a fabulous series! It kept me guessing. It kept me on my toes. It made me think. I couldn't ask for more. The ending made me sad, but I was ready for it because I'd heard in advance.

A great finish to the trilogy! Although, the romantic in me would have liked to see a little more but considering the main characters are 12, it would have just been wrong. I love this series!

I didn't finish this book, because some stupid girl I was talking with about the books totally ruined the ending for me - so I couldn't get myself to read the whole book. But I'll be sure to read the whole thing someday
