I totally relate to this story. I admire her strength and creativity. If I were stuck on an island, probably,the only reason I would survive is because of what this character gave me.

I loved this book when I was a kid. I have not read it recently, but now that I have a daughter, I have been going back to my favorites as a kid and reading them again.

Absolutely love this book! The first time i read it i was in 3rd or 4th grade, since then i have read it many many times. A must read for all young readers!
