I decided this book is not worth finishing. Its fatal flaw is the constant repetition of the phrase "in the Nightside." Not only was the main character obsessed with his locale, but his little sidekick/client even picked it up after a while. I read 60-something pages and counted the phrase 50-something times before I finally gave it up. If you can get past that, it might be a worthwhile read.

gritty, not unlike reading Hellblazer with John Constantine....
