Rich characters and interest plot. This is on of several "Camel Club" stories. Finishing the book was like having to say goodbye to friends.

The plot had a suprisingly high IQ. At first, there seem to be too many seperate things happening, yet they intertwine through the storyline beautifully. Baldacci's occasional humor is also very nice. Let's just say this book makes me want to read every single book he has written!

This is the 2nd in a series, so recommended that you read Camel Club before this one. This is a fun, quick beach read. Set largely in the Library of Congress the plot involves grifters, assassins, high-stakes treason, and rare book collectors. Does seem to go a long way around to finally tie the main subplot about the con-artists with the primary plot, but even still and enjoyable romp. Recommended

Not as good as some of Baldacci's other works. Story revolves around a con job carried out on a ruthless Casino owner by a lady who goes by the name Annabelle Conroy and how it brings her in contact with Oliver and the Camel Club which is investigating Caleb's colleague's murder. Pacy and this story has its fair share of twists and turns and a fairly orginal plot overall. Decent read...

Pretty good book. Caleb Shaw is a whiner and complainer, but I suppose you need a protagonist like that in every book. Didn't like the name Oliver Stone (an alias, obviously, but still, the author could've gotten a little more creative here, though I believe the name comes from the predecessor to this novel, The Camel Club). A quick read, and while there's some resolution at the end, not knowing what happens to Annabelle is going to leave you really preturbed. Definite read.
