Its my 1st David Baldacci book I read and probably would try his others. Nicolas Creel heads up the world's largest defense contractor, The Ares Corporation. Dick Pender is the man Creel retains to "perception manage" his company to even more riches by manipulating international conflicts.
This is a global thriller, Its suspenseful and scary story that feels all too real. How someone can put so much on the Internet and media and inundate the world with lies and globally the world falls for it since its so believable.
I am sure "perception management' is done in real life and we aren't even aware of it.

Nicholas Creel, a scrupolous arms dealer, is moving business along in his own way, where money is the only currency he cares about. Unputdownable at times.

My first David Baldacci book, and I was not disappointed.

The plot line was interesting, and it takes you on a whirlwind of a ride. My only criticism is after so much buildup to the final confrontation/resolution, it sort of ends abruptly, which to me, cheapened the whole effect Baldacci was hoping to achieve.

Overall, a great read.

If you are into conspiracy books, this one is pretty good. The characters are interesting, but the way the main antagonist goes about manipulating the word is interesting and scary at the same time. The scary part comes in when you realize that it could really happen with our moronic media.

The first Baldacci that I've been disappointed with. Somewhat implausible resolution of the central conflict in the tale.

Fast-paced and interesting, but I thought the climax / resolution was a little abrupt. A lot of build up for not a great ending.
