I always worry about these conspiracy theory authors--makes you wonder if some of this stuff is actually going on. Takes a little while to figure out the characters with so many being introduced at the beginning, but quite a thrilling book overall. Can't wait to read more Baldacci and read the rest of the series.

The book seemed to take too long to get to the action. The action was good once it got started. Too much time was spent trying to discuss their intricate political views.

The beginning of a great series, interesting especially to those of us who like conspiracy theories, starring a group of eccentric old men who have a wild series of adventures.

After a slow start, the pace really picked up, and I enjoyed it very much. Standard issue thriller-- will probably forget all about it in a week or so, but it beats vegging out in front of the TV
