The whole Women's Murder Club series is awesome. Once I start one of these books, I can't put it down! James Patterson totally knows how to keep a reader's interest until the very end. And the end is always a surprise!!!

This is the first in a series of books with the same heroine and her posse of professionals...take my advice and read all 8 books, starting with this one!

I read all of the Womens Murder Club editions. Loved every one! Also read james Patterson Judge & Jury,Cross,The Final Warning, and on and on...love him as a writer. Don't much care for the out-0f-world fiction he writes tho.

I needed a book for the dull pauses at work and I found this one last minute on a pile of books in the basement. Had I noticed the tag line "Women's Murder Club" I probably would've discarded the book and never read it in which I truly would've missed out. This turned out to be a really decent read with a good twist at the end. However I was pleasantly disappointed to find a preview of a follow-up novel called "2nd Chance" at the back of the book. Looks like I'll have to go buy the sequel now.

First book in the Women's Murder Club series. Four professional women in San Francisco (a cop, a medical examiner, an assistant DA, and a reporter) join forces to catch a serial killer who is brutally murdering newlyweds. Lots of page-turning action and Patterson's trademark gruesome, misogynistic murders. Read this for the gory murder mystery, not for the character development.
