Patterson isn't as good as Crichton (I'm a huge Michael Crichton fan) but this was pretty good. I liked the fast pace and the suspense. I liked it.

I listened to this on tape. It was so over the top. I didn't really like it because it was so over the top and it was sad in places. It was well written, though, imo.

If wanting a quick, senseless read for poolside or beach reading, this is short enough to not tax your brain... other than that, hard to think of any other attributes.

This book is a great weekend read as the chapters are short and it is a real page turner.I loved the plot right down to the chilling ending.

Very intriguing story though a bit graphic and some sexual situations that are very distasteful. Nonetheless, the book had captured my interest by the time any of that came up so I read it to the end. Great ending, especially if you like seeing those with power and money "pay for their play".

Bought this book at a thrift shop for $0.50 and packed it in my suitcase at the last minute before leaving on a Caribbean vacation. I read it on the beach in less than 3 days. The chapters were uber-short ... only 2-3 pages each. The story was good and entertaining but not like earlier James Patterson stuff that was very complex and a lot more 'thriller-like'. Still, I enjoyed it enough to give it 3.5 stars.
