My oh my! I thought I'd reached the conclusion but no, it twisted. Thought I'd pinned it down again, but no, another twist. Finally this HAD to be it, but no. Patterson kept me guessing until the very end. Highly entertaining read!

Another great book in a long series of Alex Cross novels. The Wolf is dead, or is he? You never know with Jame's books. Just when you think things are working out for Alex, everything comes crashing down on him. I have the next book ready to go. They just keep getting better and better.

I really enjoyed this book. Not too many books keep my attention from page one without me having to force myself to read more, but this one actually surprised me. Maybe it's beacause me and Dr. Cross share so many parallels that I could instantly place myself in each of these situations in a hypothetical sense and it actually felt like I was in the story making the decisions and taking action on my own. The only thing this book lacked was pages. I didn't even realize that this novel was actually a sequel while reading it. What a spoiler!

Typical Patterson intrigue! Ending was a little silly, but overall a good "beach read"...

A good read, although I got a bit confused at the end as to who the Wolf REALLY was. Thrilling anyhow.

Patterson's Cross novels have become increasingly disappointing for me over the last four books. He has taken a highly-developed, interesting character, and managed to make Alex Cross boring and predictable. While in the earlier novels I found myself drawn to Dr. Cross' ability to get into a sociopath's demented mind, London Bridges, with its two and three page chapters, did not give me a chance to get mentally interested or emotionally involved. Sadly, I think I will abandon James Patterson for a while and find a writer who is still interested in his own character's stories, rather than pumping out a half-written book for a quick editing deadline.

This has got to be the worst book I've ever read from Patterson. I must say I'm pretty much disappointed with this one. Just within the first few chapters, I already felt the 'drag' to read the rest of the book.

It's too much of a 'terrorist-motive' story.. unlike the rest of his Alex Cross's novels - which were mostly on serial killers..

I stopped on Chapter 100 and let my dearest one continue to complete and just fill me in with the ending. Well I'm glad I stopped at that very chapter. We both agreed that this could be our James Patterson book we'd pick to read ..

How sad.. I'll rate this book 2 Stars :(

Not as enjoyable as Patterson books usually are - maybe because this one dealt more with global espionage than serial killers or mystery ... !

James Patterson's style of writing drives me a little crazy...not in a good way...but I do like some of his series books like Alex Cross and The Women's Murder Club.

IT THE MOST COMMON complaint from students reading bestseller is that they feel that everything in it is absurd and makes no sense. More and more, this is the way of modern-day literature.I felt it now myself.IT WAS PROBABLY the worst book I'd ever read in my years as a student - totally predictable without logical assault or rational investigation.WELCOME TO THE HOLOCAUST-OBSESSED author and his completely bizarre way of doing things.THIS MUCH WE KNEWA russian by the name of Anton Christyakov was the Wolf. CIA's fairly sure about that.He squeezes a rubber ball.He favors beards. His family was murdered. And Alex Cross believed he is dead.AFTER READING this book, I have to admit, I was a little speechless, too. They no longer contained any of the Wolf personal feelings that must have led to the affair.THE STRANGEST, most puzzling thing happened next. The book ended - and nothing solvedThere was no motivation of the Wolf, no method of onslaughts. Nothing. Silence. It was eerie but also incredibly scary.
