wow, the movie and the book are completely very different!!! I think I like the book a little better.

Nicholas Sparks never ceases to amaze his readers with tear jerking novels like this one and The Notebook. Unlike the Notebook which was tragic in it's own way, this one is tragic in the most sad way possible. If you do not cry after reading this book there is something very wrong with you. I saw the movie first, then read the book .. like I did with The Notebook. With The Notebook, the movie made me cry, the book did not. With A Walk To Remember both made me bawl like a child with a skinned knee. Read this one. I highly suggest it.

i love this book! its is so amazing, but this book is very clean. THe rest of his books i wish i could say were clean but they are not!

Cried and laughed and cried some more!!! Read it before watching the movie. I was so disappointed watching the movie because it was not even a centimeter close to the novel. Hated the movie!!!

The writing style of the book is very simple, but the story plot and message are very beautiful. Like the movie, it might bring you to tears. There are differences in the plot and details between the book and the movie, but the main message is the same.

"First you will smile, then you will cry - dont say you haven't been warned" and im quoting directly from the book. i dont review books that often, but this one's worth it. word of advice - forget the movie.
