When I read it, it sounded like a moviescript to me. I guess Follet had envisioned a 70's theme fitting in today's scenario.At times, sounded shallow and at times, the FBI was depicted to be too dumb..Apart from all that it's an interesting read. The plot is unbelievably new.

The twists and turns are breathlessly entertaining and just when you think it's over, there comes the point where u have to fight within urself to decide who should be getting their comeuppance.by the end you are torn .... u must read it folks...

Good read. Engaging characters. Particularly the two leads... the half-irish, half-vietnamese FBI agent Judy Maddox, and the villain, the brilliant but illiterate cult-leader Ricky Grainger. Think this would make an excellent transition to film.
