This is a great book, a classic page turner and an emotional rollercoaster, but the reason for four stars instead of five you might ask? I found a part in the middle where my mind started to wander and my thoughts were 'was this a necessary part?' All in all a great book!

It is not one of my favorite of Stephen King's books, but I did find it to be a very interesting story line. It was book five in my tour de Stephen King, and for being one of his earliest books it fell a little short of par to his first books like Carrie, the Shinning, and The Stand. But the story line is one that will get you thinking. I was fairly short as far as King novels go, and even though some people complaign King can be to wordy, I think that this book could have expanded a little more on a few of its story lines. Right when I thought the novel was picking up spead and I was getting excitted about reading further it abruptly ended. I am still an avid King fan, but I have to go on record that The Dead Zone I will probably leave at a one time read for me.
