I think this is Stephen King's best book. Read it in the 9th grade and I'm still haunted by it.

I was scared of clowns before it was cool, and the movie IT didn't help. I read the book first when I was 11 (which made the sewer scene when they were kids even weirder), and again when I was 15. I plan on reading it again.
