I read this when I was in junior high school. My favorite story is still The Langoliers. The movie doesn't do it justice--but they rarely do.

I actually only read "Secret Window, Secret Garden" but it was great! A little different from the movie, but in a good way. I'm glad I read it after I saw the movie because I would have whined about the differences instead of enjoying the movie.

Contains four novellas. Two of which became movies; Langoliers and Secret Window, Secret Garden. Langoliers is a really good story and a bit scary. Library Police is also scary, but it's also a bit weird. Secret Window is similar to the movie with Johnny Depp which was okay, and the final Sun Dog was just plain weird.

The Library Policeman still gives me the chills.... When you read it, you'll understand... Stephen King is one of my favorite writers
