Such a thought-provoking story. What made is so good is that it could actually happen in reality.

I have to credit Stephan King for getting me interested in reading. I've kind of lost interest in his work but I still admire his talent. I heard him read once and was looking forward to hearing something bone-chilling. Instead he read about the puking scene in his novella The Body. While I hated listening to it (it was extremely graphic), it was fun to watch him read. He giggled through the whole thing!

I think he's a genius at creating characters. He can have twenty main characters in one story and you'd never mix them up. Besides, a man who can make dust bunnies scary is truly talented.

DC is one of my favorites for two reasons; the story itself (not his usual fright-fair) but the story was written as one conversation. Dolores is telling her story. There are no chapters! How cool is that?

I read this years ago but it's one of my favorite Stephen King books. It is not a horror story but more like Shawshank Redemption.
