Well~~~probably the most disappointing pieces of Agatha Christie that i\'ve read...written at her old age, the story has fallen into bits and pieces that hardly linked up together. Wouldn\'t recommended it.

I read the entire Agatha Christie collection as a teenager. I remember them as being very entertaining, and badly translated into Portuguese. And no, I did not have anything better to do at the time (or so I thought). Anyway, I loved the suspense, the middle-upper class settings , and a lot of the characters - not necessarily the detectives.

Not wat is xpected from Agatha Christie's othr creations... make u feel bored in between and the suspense dies off eventually!

This was my first Christie, it is complicated, and it weaves an intricate web. Not often known, but definatly a must read for a Christie fan.

Sadly, this is one of Agatha's poorer novels. The mystery's solution is unfair: you meet the murderer pages before he/she turns out to be the murderer! The book goes rambling on and on about old times that are now past. Sadly, not one of the best.

I'm not a big fan of Tommy and Tuppence Beresford. In contrast with Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot, I find them slow, dense, and uninteresting. In this book, I grasped the clue's significance LONG before the "sleuths;" which is atypical of Christie's writing.
