Nevjerovatna knjiga o Mikelandjelu, o agoniji i ekstazi stvaranja, borbe s porivima i talentom...pozelis da se spakiras, otputujes u Rim i dodirnes sva djela koje je Mikelandjelo isklesao ili naslikao.Usput saznas mnogo o njemu o sebi o umjetnosti.

An incredible book. Really makes you feel like you KNOW what Michelangelo was thinking and feeling while he was creating the David and painting the Sistine Chapel. Cool historic perspective too!

I read this in anticipation of moving to Italy, and have since had the good fortune to see several of Michelangelo's sculptures. This historical semi-fiction tells a captivating story of the artist's life, which has enhanced my appreciation of his works.

A great story that conveys the passion and inspiration for Michelangelo's works of art, architecture, sculpture and poetry. I highly recommend this for novices to art history (myself included) who want to learn about one of the greatest artists of all time.

a very nice read....gripping throughout.its a common belief that biographical novels are boring but this book is sure to convince you for the opposite.beautiful language and characterisation.............a must read
