This is a good addition to the Urban Fantasy genre. Finally something original. Starts a little slow but all in all a quick fun read.

This book was fun to read because it is set in Seattle and I've lived here for 8 years. I recognize places she mentions. The story is fast paced and the writing style is a pleasure to read.

This fantasy novel is set in modern Seattle and I just loved reading about places I see almost everyday. Well written with an interesting, strong female protagonist. It's difficult to break new ground in this genre but I think Kat Richardson has managed to do it. Great book!

Greywalker was much better than I had anticipated it would be. I'm not into the typical urban fantasy/occult stuff but this was not it at all. It was a little slow to get started but certainly intriguing from the get go. Harper, our heroine, is very realistic and like-able, which is sometimes seems too much to ask these days. For anyone who is interested in an interesting, mystery, this is a must read.

Entertaining enough that if there were nothing else on my bookshelf, and I could buy it used, I'd read the second one. Mediocre enough that I'm pleased I got it for $5.00.

There must be something in the air of Seattle, that breeds female writers of the paranormal. Despite the preponderence of writers in this genre, the premise of a PI's hesitant initiation into the "Grey" paranormal world is original and enjoyable, and unlike many of the heroines of this genre, she is surrounded by a strong supporting cast of characters of depth. I will keep reading the series, and look forward to further character and plot development of increasing complexity.

Paranormal books are always fun. If you want a book focusing more on the mystery rather then relationships, then go for this read. Plenty of action, ghosts and bad guys!! Yay!

I liked this book but I think it attempted just a little too much. A female detective gains access to the GREY world of vampires, dark spirits and magic. She stumbles and bumbles her way into solving a complex mystery.

Wow... just wow... original premise, fantastic characters, excellent plot... I don't think there are enough superlatives for this book! Harper Blaine dies for 2 minutes, and when she's revived, she can see and interact with paranormal beings living in the Grey. Before she knows it, she's being hired to investigate cases for vampires, ghosts, and other otherworldly creatures.
