The first half is a bit rough (Dickens is excessively wordy about nothing of consequence), the second half ties everything together. Not a big Dickens fan but if you're going to read one of his books, this is the one to pick.

I read a lot of Dickens in High School...Classics - must reads if you haven't read any. David Copperfield was my favorite Dickens...

Read the Children version when I was very small.Don't remember it except that teh two cities mentioned here is France and England.
