At this point in time this is a book more useful as a text about teaching and explanatory style than physics. If you're interested in learning physics, get something modern. However if you're interested in an insight into Feynman (even if you already know the physics involved) this is very good.

I wish the quality were a bit better in the first lecture, and I'd love to have seen him writing everything out on the board as he talked, but it's still fascinating listening to one of the world's greatest minds of the previous century explaining "what we know so far" in the realm of physics.

A fascinating treatise of some familiar material. Feynman is a virtually unparalleled teacher and lecturer, and it shows.

This book is great for dumbing down some pretty complicated ideas in physics. Just remember - these lectures were written in the 1960s, so some of the science (especially the non-physics science) has changed a bit.

Feynam explains particle Physics in 6 straightforward chapters. A great introduction to an intriguing topic.

Feels almost like having been on the lecture hall at Caltech. It might be outdated but Feynman's insights into basic physics are brilliant. Brilliant summary but not intelligible for the layman
