A fantabulous book! I don't know exactly why I liked it so much, but it is definitely worth a read.

Wow they really need to make movies like this. Triumphing all that is worth fighting for. Addressing everything and addressing it correctly from the radical sanity which is Orthodox Christianity.

There is something so silly and yet so profound about this book. I read it, and did not think much of it until the climax at the water tower. After that, I saw the world in a new way.

This book is hilarious. It tells of a man who gets a little power and influence and is suddenly a modern-day caeser. The humour comes in the recognition that you might just be the object of this genial satire as aren't we all just a little bit 'President of the People's Republic' of our own little world?

I can't recommend this book highly enough. The first part is funny, and the next part is high romance in the old sense of knights at battle only they aren't knights, and the last part is philosophical. Please read it.

Chesterton's entertaining take on the small business of imperial politics is as refreshingly logical and surprising today as it was a century ago.

Probably one of the most bizarre books I've ever read. I didn't understand half of what was going on, but reading it was kind of like being a child again, when you watch movies filled with themes that are too complicated for you to grasp. Most of it is madness, riddled with a little bit of brilliance, and I can't really tell you what it's about, but I would recommend it - if only for the first page and a half!
