This book was one of the best books i ever read..i couldnt put it down and i love to read it over and over..i use it to help my friends understand what a journey of following god looks like because this book and movie makes it easy to understand and the vocabulary is amazing!

It has been awhile since I read Pilgrim's Progress. What a delight to see how Bunyan allegorizes the Christian experience. I am loving the way he refers to and uses Scripture passages or terms (KJV) in the flow of the story. Amazing mastery of the Scriptures. It has also been enjoyable to relook at the times and life of John Bunyan.

A must read for all Christians and speculators alike. It touches on almost all aspects of a person's spiritual journey. You'll meet so many characters along the way and may even 'know' a good many of them. I prefer the original to the more modern translations because it is a work of literature, indeed, great literature to be savored and appreciated. I don't perceive John Bunyan's language as hard but rich in color (not just gloss) and most effective in describing human characteristics. You can read this book online at ccel.org.

A not so subtle allegory of a Christian's life journey to salvation. It was hard to get all the way through, probably because my attention span has been ruined by television. But I'm glad I finally did and I'm proud to have it as part of my English (and Puritan) heritage.

This is one book which I would recommend the whole world to read! ha ha.. It's a really easy read, nothing profound in writing of sort, especially now since there are re-prints in modern English. Even a child could read and enjoy this book! For the pilgrim on this journey, share in the accounts written by Bunyan and let your heart be encouraged as well!
