if anyone is a fan of Jane Austen, this is a must read! it was fairly difficult for me to find, but its unlike any other Austen I've read. lady susan is exactly the opposite of the word lady and the exact opposite of what you would expect Austen to write about. however, she did a fantasticly perfect job of creating a horrible woman and still finds a way to make a happy ending, or at least a happy ending for some

Very Interesting. Though it's a little hard for me to understand the language & it took me quite a while to finish this book, I enjoyed reading it. The plot and the style of writing are interesting!

I was part of a book club. When we read this short selection I really enjoyed it, while the others were merely annoyed by the format. I think from a literary standpoint it's well written and interesting. But, it has it's cruel and confusing undertones. It's short. And, it leaves a lot to the imagination. Like, you feel a little bit like you want to be there more...and away from it all at the same time. Not one of her best, but not terrible.

An interesting divergence from the typical Jane Austin novel (which I thought I had read them all in advance of finding this one)! A scheming vice noble heroine... written as a series of letters. Quite enjoyable.
