Is an amazing book. I love this author, she is the only one that makes me laugh so hard i pee a little!!! you immediately fall in love with alex and alix

Bottom line: A fast, funny, feel-good read. There's a reason Katie Mac's on my must-buy list.

NO! no no no no no! This book was bad. Terrible. Horrible. Trash trash trash! I did not enjoy it at all. The character was a feeble minded idiot and I wanted to beat some sense into her. Having two people with the same name is not cute or hilarious. It is stupid. This reeks of a self insert (and looking at her other books, they seem to be much of the same). The hero is a great guy who has a good job and is very sane and normal. He is much too good for Alix. She is whiney, jealous, rude, and is not likable at all. Ugh, I had to force myself through this book.

I understand why the character was the way she was but that made it hard to get into this book... Tha author had to make her blow everything out of proportion just so the ending would end up right... I could also guess what was going to happen next, and while some may think thats always the case with romance novels I tend to think its not... It was an ok book... I wouldn't recomend it to many people...

The main character was incredibly annoying but the rest of the characters quite charming. The alpha male was too sensible to really stick around for the unlikeable psycho woman. Would not recommend it to anyone but there were some passable funny moments.

Also a very funny book, but Alix, the heroine, went a bit on my nerves. It is a story in which I sometimes wanted to interfere, but apart from tha, it's hilarious!

I'm not often inspired to write a review, but I feel compelled to warn people about this book. It's AWFUL. I've read half a dozen of Katie Macalister's novels, both paranormal and contemporary romances, so I'm used to her clumsy, insecure loud mouthed heroines. I quite like them, they usually have great heart than makes up for their blundering, but the female lead in this novel Alix is not charming or sassy, she's HIDEOUS. Irritating, hypocritical, whiny, needy, selfish and self obsessed. I have no idea why the completely together and all together charming Alex Black has anything to do with her. I can't believe I actually finished this tripe. I should have let it go at chapter three.
