The 4th in the series draws us further into the world of the werewolves and shape shifters. Very suspenseful and hard to put down! I love the love triangle between Anita, Jean Claude, and Richard! Can't wait to see what happens next!

These five stars are of course on a different level than any heavy literary work. I thought this was the best of the fast paced "Don't worry, someone will try to kill me before lunch" Anita Blake's yet. I loved the end of this book - and getting to know those furry fiends better. However, I used to be just a little in love with Jean Claude - but that faded fast with this one. ;) There was a section in the middle with which I think so much more could have been done. But, maybe Anita's magic is something that will come into play in the later works. To bad she couldn't have just gone on and dominated both Jean Claude and Richard!

its a good book i think laurell k hamilton is a pretty good writer it makes u want to keep and keep reading :).
