Jean-Claude was the only good part of this one.Read it. Not a fan of the "Fairy Princess series". Anita Blake will always be #1 on my bookshelf.

Love Micah, love Asher, feel sad for Richard. I'm amazed at how after 11 books, I'm still hooked on this series and it seems fresh with each book. Sometime I still get all the characters mixed up.

This was the first book I read in the Anita Blake series. Normally I don't start anywhere but BOOK 1 on a series but I'd run out of everything else. This book hooked me completely, and I now own everything Laurell has written with the exceptions of what's come out in the last couple of months. This is one of the better books in the series, too, in my opinion.
