I just could not get past chapter 3 of this book, there were too many gruesome details!

It incorrectly implies there is any actually killing which there isn't. This is more of a suspense story focused solely on the catching of the killer. Not a bad read though all in all.

Really hoping this gets finished. Great read so far but I get really annoyed by books that don't. Hopefully, Vol. 2 isn't a let down. (If and when it's written)

The plot of this story was great I loved the new concept of the digi-novel and had me wanting to finish this story. Though it could have been written a lot better, and I didn't like that it had a 8 year old reading level. But if your 8 years old and want to read a good thriller this book is for you. Enjoy.

This was a great book. Couldn't put it down at all. If you into crime novels that draw you in, this is the book for you.

OMG. If you like novels about serial killers this is the best one ever. This guy makes Hannibal Lector look like a sweetheart. I wanted to call Dexter to come save us all. Fortunately Steve Dark, Riggens and Constance were on the job. It's advertised as the first digital novel - because from time to time you can log in to Level26.com and enter a code to see a short video that makes the book all too real. I had to finish it last night because I didn't want to go to sleep without knowing the end. Seriously good read.

don't let the name anthony .e.zuiker fool you,you will be dissapointed,one of the worst book i read so far. the concept of condom man killing was great idea,but come to think about it, all the world try to catch a killer for 20 year, i bet there ever been dna 20year ago,plus,this book miss the thing that what we like about csi,the detail,noty the killing , but the technic of solving crime,i msut say , this book sucks.

There are 25 levels used to define and class serial killers, and the main character in this book is so sick and twisted he creates a new classification: level 26. As a thriller it was pretty good, I enjoyed reading it, and seeing where it would go. No big shockers, or plot twists, but a solid read. My complaint has to do with the torture. The description of the devices used of the victims was enough to make me cringe and turn the page. do we really need to read in detail about the devices he used to open them up?

Not as good as I had hoped it would be but I didn't hate it. I am not sure that I liked the digital part it actually was more of a pain than anything.

EXCELLENT. This book is the scariest, creepiest, and most mind blowing book I have ever read. I couldn't put it down, and when I did put it down it stayed with me (even whenever I heard a noise). THE BEST PART: This is a Digi-Book - meaning after every few chapters there is a website and code to log into to watch about a 3 minute clip of the book. Some of the clips aren't in the book at all. It really brings the book alive - so cool. I wish all books had this option!!!!

The "perfect" killer makes it personal with the "perfect hunter. It's not bad. Chapters are two and three pages long. I couldn't watch the videos as I had a pre-release copy but the story was all right.

Described as a Digi-novel, it is a combination of print and online videos, written by the creator of CSI. It is an interesting multi-media experience that draws on high-quality TV/film characters. The video is used to link together chapters rather than simply replaying the written word in another art form. The main character is a FBI serial killer specialist who lost his own family to the killer and is called out of retirement. I won't tell you any more than that except to say that Level 26 is a designation given to the absolute worst kind of serial killer. This makes Hannibal Lecter look like Sponge Bob Squarepants. I felt disturbed after reading this novel. It is haunting. It's a fantastic piece of work and if you enjoyed The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo by Steig Larsson you will enjoy this book.
