I felt the anguish and guilt of the main character in this book all the way through. Although his crime is awful I could not help following his reasoning and at first desperately hoping he get away with the crime and eventually his guilt wore me down and I longed for him to get caught or confess. He gets no pleasure or benefitthe spoils from his crime, also he seems to show no true remorse only regret for what has happened. It has been a while since I read this book but defninitely enjoyed it and will read again.

Estoy leyendo este libro y me gusta su narrativa. Un poco rebuscada por el lenguaje. Sobre todo porque se acostumbra uno a la narrativa sencilla y ágil. Me refiero que voy en el capítulo uno y el jóven Raskolnikov apenas dio unos pasos inseguros fuera de su oscuro y endeudado cuarto en la posada. Y no avanzo, pero como él mismo dice: Ese hábito suyo de monologar lo lleva a uno a reflexionar en lo propio, al mismo tiempo que lee... eso es lo interesante...
