This book is my favorite of the series, followed by Anne's House of Dreams...I love how Anne gets to go away on her own and live with the other girls and have all those experiences, it's something every girl should do!! Plus, who can resist the love story between her and Gilbert, those last couple of chapters bring me to tears just about every time!

Probably the best book in the Anne of Green Gables series AND she actually marries Gilbert! Unlike Jo not marrying Laurie in Little Women! GRRr

By far the best Anne book! I love reading about all of Anne's adventures, but this one is my favorite. I can safely proclaim myself madly in love with Gilbert Blythe.

This is my absolute favorite of the Anne of Green Gables series. She is off at college learning and meeting new girlfriends and some new love interests. I can't actually find my copy right now; it is normally what I pick up in the middle of the night when I can't sleep and need something comforting. My favorite pages are dogeared from reading them over and over again.

I too, have a love of reading because of LM Montgomery's writing the Anne series. Every time I am inspired again, thrilled again & stirred by Gilbert Blythe's devotion to Anne!

My absolute FAVORITE in all of the series... It's not Anne's first time away from home, yet because she's in school she encounters all kinds of experiences that I looked forward to having when I got to college. I read it for the first time in 3rd grade, and even as a 24 year old now, I can re-read it and feel those very same feelings that I felt when I first read it. My favorite book of all time!!

My dad got me this series for Christmas when I was in fifth grade and I still have all the original ones except for Anne's House of Dreams which I replaced from a set I found at a yard sale. I have probably read this series 10 times over the years and still love it! LM Montgomery is a big part of the reason I love to ready today.

"Its good to be alive in this beautiful world"-Anne's philosophy is such an inspiration to me!Just reading of her life motivates you to adopt her policy-to spread a bit more light and joy in the lives of those whom you meet!Her story is timeless and beautiful!
