I found an old copy of this book in my grandfathers bookself, I've read it three times and I still get shivers at the complexity of the story, and the whole hat being blown awan revealing the white hair, perfection!

This may be my favorite Ludlum novel I have read so far...it could only be beat by The Bourne Identity, but that may be just my fond memories of my first Ludlum novel talking.... Read this book. It isn't his most famous novel, but its my favorite so far. I want a movie version!!!!

The beginning was quite slow.... I was about to put this book down but decided to give it another try and i'm glad I did... Once the story got off it was very good... fast paced... but somehow i felt there were too many hints as to who parsifal is( or maybe i just guessed right :P). Not his best work... but still a fun read...

Talk about getting lost in a mosaic. You have to be alert while reading this. The plot and the characters must be followed closely. One of Ludlum's best crafted story...with some dragging parts.

Engaging.. Intriguing.. Knowledgeable too.. Never knew much about CIA, Cons-Op, KGB or the VKR.. Good to read about these entities and how they work.. Perfect Thriller !!

One of the best thrillers I have read till data. The way the author builds up to the climax is unparalleled. It had me glued to the pages till I finished reading it. Very authentic

The usual Ludlum formula - one man against the world pitched against a conspiracy of potentially cataclysmic proportions. Survives against all odds, picks up a woman along the way, and solves the mystery to boot. This time it is a conspiracy involving the heart of US government and espionage and involving a deep seated Soviet program of subterfuge. Nothing much new here but told in Ludlum's impeccable manner of building suspense and mystery at each turn.
