A tremendous read, not because the author is a great writer, she's not. That is not to say she is a bad writer. It is also not tremendous because it is merely her story. It is as much or more the story of Betsie Ten Boom as it is the story of Corrie Ten Boom. It is a tremendous read because of the very power of a living God that manifests Itself in people who could not otherwise have endured. Make no mistake, this is a story of a faithful God who moves and acts in the lives of those who really trust Him. It is a call to every believer to place their trust in the God of the universe and rest in His care. Believer or no, do yourself a favor and read this book.

Corrie is one of the most amazing women used of God. Her testimony throughout the holocaust and after her release was and continues to touch many people for God.

Amazing story of God's grace and power in the midst of human sin and suffering. Every time i read it i get something new out of it, and i cry. Every Christian should read this book at least once.

Favorite book-The Bible...2nd fav book-The Hiding Place. It is absolutely amazing. God is right there in the middle of the Holocaust with Corrie ten Boom. She led an amazing spirit filled life-in and out of the death camps.

Oooohhhh, I LOVE this book. Every time I read it I am boggled by Papa and Betsie's unshakable faith. Unfortunately, I more often relate to Corrie, who questions and worries. A very inspiring read!
