I'm not a fan of short stories which is what this book really is. I personally need to get to know the characters more in depth in order to form a bond with the book. I have nothing bad to say about the short stories, they were short and sweet, but that's all it is.

I had the fortune to meet Mr. Bradbury in person at the Abbot Kinney Library in Venice, CA. He talked about his life as a writer, and it was like he was reading one of his short stories. FABULOUS!

Actually this is a book I read several years ago. I love the way Bradbury writes. Great book. Science fiction is a genre that will make you think about the world and your place in it.

sorry tibs i kinda didnt like it all that much.. i mean it just got plain freaky and really into mars after a while. bradburys a little too obsessed with some nuclear apocalypse thats bound to happen in the near future. freaky

Ray Bradbury is another brilliant storyteller. I saw the Illustrated Man made into a movie - Rod Steiger was the Illustrated Man.

Excellent collection of Bradbury's short stories. My only complaint is that too many are centered around rockets and space travel.
