it was an okay book. better than what people told me it would be. there were some pretty good stories.

Simply a classic of science fiction. The language may not be beautiful, but the imagination shown in it is remarkable. I also love retro visions of the future. His stories are so deeply colored with a post World War II All American aesthetic. Its like a cross between Buck Rodgers and the Andy Griffith Show.

This book (and basically everything that Bradbury wrote) articulates feelings and beliefs inside of me that I've never been able to communicate or understand. Magical.
