This was the first book that I read by him; a group of friends and I all decided to do the same book for a book report. Almost every one of us fell in love with his books. John Saul's only downfall that I can find is with some books, once you've read the prologue, and you read a few of his other books, you can tell what's going to happen. But that still doesn't make the story any less amazing.
