Just finished this book. First of all, I'm a sucker for anything Dean Koontz. This book gripped me in many ways. And, as I know in my hopeful mind that a story like this never rings true in my lifetime, I feel as if it could happen in some realm of our mysterious planet.

absoutley brilliant..mystery and suspense all the way.i couldt put down and i dont think i could ever part with it.a brilliant read.

couldn't wait to read the second in the series. They say it's a trilogy, but I can't seem to figure out what #3 is.

By far Koontz best work ever. Much more sci-fi than his other writings but with a heart-pounding ending. In a small town people begin...changing. Maybe the abandoned military base isn't so abandoned. The scenes in the 'egg room' were some of the best suspense I've read to date.

this si the first book i read by dean koontz, and i must say i fell in love... it took a little while for me to get used to his writing stlye (having read anne rice and stephen king exclusively for like, 3 years) but you fall into the rhythm of the story, and sooner or later, can't put the book down...

I love Christopher Snow, he's my favorite DK character outside of Odd Thomas. The series on him is wonderful!

Koontz at his best. I really liked this story a lot. It combines secret military/science projects, a really interesting and unique protagonist and some strange goings on with the local animals.

my favorite Dean Koontz - good character(s), plot, he always pulls you right thru the story and then engulfs you with the conclusion.

This is another of my favourite characters Dean has invented. This man helps me to try and be strong every day I wake up. Sometimes I don't succeed, but I just try again the next day, cause I know he would have, too.
