Deedle, doodle, diddle, this book gets going in the middle. Shep's character was awesome. The detail put into the off-beat personalities of Koontz's continues to amaze me.

Intressant tankeställare om nanoteknikens faror och framsteg i en nutid nära oss. Galen vetenskapsman "förbättrar" mänskliga försökskaniner med mystisk drog, som givetvis får det mesta att gå åt pipsvängen. Bra sommarläsning med en aktuell frågeställning!

The lives of 2 strangers get pulled together, when they get injected by some mad professor with something he calls "stuff", what this "Stuff" does to a person unravels as they jump from place to place seeking answers, whilst running from people out to kill them!This is a fast moving book, and from one chapter to the next i wasnt sure where the story was heading. Dean Koontz has written yet another great book!

I couldn't put this book down for a second, the characters lock you in and the story line is unique and mysterious. The action started right in the beginning which I always like, its gets you right away and keeps you entertained the entire time

This is the Koontz book to read. I'm an avid reader of Dean Koontz and this book is a masterpiece. The dychotomy between good and evil is so clear. The character development and story line builds in such a way that you feel like you know the people. Excellent.

loved it! Reminded me of "Rainman" meets "Odd Thomas" meets "fantastic four"... very entertaining and appropriate for teens too. Left open the possibility of sequels... I can only hope.

I am a new fan of Dean Koontz and have only started reading a few of his work during the past few months. I loved this! It would have earned five stars if not for the ending. It became a little too "Marvel Comics Super Hero" towards the ending. Once again, genetics engineering weaves a frightening thread to confirm that the humankind is best left untweaked.

This is my first Koontz book. I found it at goodwill and FELL IN LOVE. I cannot believe how fast I FLEW thru this book!

Very funny story, yet full of adventure!! this author is a real artist, i like the way he describes things in details. and yet the ending is very unexpected and teasing, bt i like it!! :|

The first part is a bit slow...lot of verbal detail that bogs a bit, but book picks up quickly and is enjoyable by teenagers and parents.

Probably one of the weirder books of Dean Koontz, but that doesn't make it any less good than all the other books. As usual, I couldn't put this book down either once I got started on it.

Aside from the usual slight bit of cheesiness I've come to find in most of Dean's work this was a great novel. My favorite of his so far.

Dean Koontz completely thrills with all of his novels, but this one is the most gripping of all. Shrouded in mystery, certain characters develope super-human powers; None of them can explain where they came from, how they got them, or why they three (who did not know each other) were chosen. Really, really awesome read.
