Unbelievable suspense, actually found my heart pounding in my chest at one point. Brilliant book! Well worth a read!

Absolutely loved it!! Couldnt put it down from page 1!! The book that really got me into reading the amazing author that is, Dean Koontz!

The 'main character' drives over to stay at her friends house and that night a killer enters their home and murders the whole family, she is the sole survivor. The main character (sorry I can't remember her name)manages to get into the killers vehicle undetected (for the time being)...a GREAT story, full of suspense. A disturbing look into the mind of a killer!!! :[ But nevertheless a really good novel, I recommend it to you!

I read this one summer in college while comatose under a lifeguard stand in Surf City/Ship Bottom/Beach Haven/Loveladies...wherever I was sure someone would turn me over every hour and help me slather myself with sunblock. As I recall, that didn't work out all that well that summer. I think this book gave me cancer.

This book was really good and lived up to the name. There was a movie called "high intensity" which I think was based on it. Although there is no direct reference, the plot similarities are too big to miss.

The title explains it all. Very intense emotions throughout the entire book. Like watching a scary movie for the first time!

This is the BEST BOOK I have ever read!!! I loved Dean R Koontz books and then came Intensity.It was the ultimate in scary! The first page read and I couldn't put the book down!My daughter was in awe as to what I was reading and went out and bought the book before I could finish it!! I was afraid to get out of bed to turn out the lights!! I believe it was his best novel ever!! And I would read it again.(something I never do)!!Amazing book!!!Thumbs up for D.K.

Edge of your seat thriller. From the first chapter on, you can't put it down as your pulse races with INTENSITY! My favorite book by Dean Koontz!
