This is the first dean Koontz that I ever read. Unbelievable yet believable story line!

It was ok. It took until page 400 to capture my interest and even then it kind of died after the few surprises. It was my first Koontz novel but I'm going to try some of his others before I give up on him.

This was a decent read - could have been about 200 pages shorter, but I am grateful Koontz went into alot of character development on the antagonist or I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much when the end finally, and I mean finally, came. Decent book, I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers...

Very good. In some parts I had to remind myself it is just fiction.Mildly moral disturbing in parts.

I will never trust a therapist again... an AMAZING book by Mr. Koontz! A major must-read, and totally suggested to any Dean Koontz fan.

It was ok. There were a few surprises in the book, and it did keep me turning the pages. But it wasn't one of those books you had to read until you finished it. I like Koontz's earlier work better.

I have to read mindless books at night since I really only get a small amount of time to read these days. But this book is messing with my head. It's creepy and weird...and a little too wordy at times but it is a book that allows you to escape...just maybe not to where I want to be...in the creepy, dark, mind warped place...yikes.

took me awhile to get into it but once i did ooooh i couldn't put it down, what an imagination....started reading Brother Odd but had to take it back to the library and haven't made it back to renew it was also starting to get really good

I hated reading....until I found this book. My husband told me it was good. When I finished reading it... I said it was fantastic. Definitely a suspense thriller and Hollywood should focus on making this a movie!!! Someone write a screeenplay please.

I've been reading this book for about 7 years. Unbelievable yes, but somehow I'll lose it, then find it, then lose it again. While I remember it being suspenseful, something about it disturbed me and just crawled under my skin. Good book, but not my favorite of his. I've probably read over half of Koontz's works.
