Read it again after the film to see what they have changed...and they have changed a lot...especially in the second part, but not all for worse

I'm still reading it, but the translation is approachable whilst still retaining a sense of the original. My mum had to study (and translate) Beowulf at when she read this translation she reckoned it is brilliant.
